His waistline was definitely thicker, his hair nearly all grey now, although he hadn't lost any, thank god.

He raised his eyes to meet the reflected gaze of the man standing behind him, smiling ruefully as two leather-clad arms wrapped around him.

"We're getting old, mate."

"Better than the alternative. Most people expected us to be pushing up daisies years ago. Anyway, I'd rather have Old Father Time knocking on the door than Old Father Cowley."

Doyle couldn't argue with that. He turned into Bodie's embrace and grinned.

"Still, with age comes experience, eh?"

Bodie grinned back.

"Care to demonstrate?"
