The Professionals Circuit Archive - Anger Anger by Mahlia Belonn Bodie stormed into CI5 headquarters and made his way hurriedly through the hallways. One look at the dark, brooding face and stormy eyes was enough to stop anyone from talking to him, and the other agents and staff wisely avoided him. Bodie in a temper was something to be avoided at all costs, especially if you wanted to see the next day with all body parts intact. Only one person could face Bodie when he was in a rage like this and live...his partner Ray Doyle. Rumours ran wild about these two. They were by the far the best agents, working together as one person. They always knew what the other was doing and seemed to have whole conversations with just one glance. No other pairing even came close. They seemed to always be in each others pockets...if you spotted one, then the other was sure to be nearby. They even shared the same address. Twelve months previously they had moved in together. It was a two-bedroom flat, but most people were sure that the second was only for show. It had never been officially confirmed, but the fact that CI5's resident Romeo's never went on dates any more was all the proof the gossipers needed. On the job they were as professional as ever, but as soon as a job was over, they disappeared. Nobody said anything directly to Bodie and Doyle because of the respect they had for them. Everyone knew they were the best and that they could always be relied on when the going got tough, so they were left to live as they pleased. If they found happiness with each other, who was to say it was wrong. ****** Ray Doyle looked up as Bodie stormed into their office. He took one look at the furious face and jumped up to lock the door. As soon as the lock clicked home, he gathered Bodie in his arms. Immediately the tension in the solid body started to lessen. With one hand he tipped the handsome face up and kissed him gently. When they broke apart, Ray looked into the beautiful blue eyes. "What are you so angry about Bodie?" Questioned Ray softly. Bodie found it hard to refuse anything Ray asked, and now was no exception. "You know how I went to see one of my snitches today...well, he started out by giving me some wrong information and of course this got up my nose." "Yeah I can see why." "That wasn't so bad, but when I confronted him again, he started to ask after you, and then went into full detail about what he would like to do to you next time he saw you. I warned him off, but he continued and started to make comments about the two of us, which made everything sound really dirty. It was then that I hit him...hard." "Ya big lug...you should have just ignored him." Ray answered, still holding tight to Bodie. "I know, but he kept twisting our love into something horrid and dirty. It's not! You're the best thing that has ever happened to me." "I feel the same way Bodie-love. I love you so very, very much." "Love you too sunshine." The lips met in a kiss that said everything that the words hadn't. The love flowed freely between them, and the last of the tension fled from Bodie's frame. ****** No one was surprised when a beaming Bodie left the building later. This was just further proof of the love shared between Bodie and Doyle. Only Ray could have caused the dark man to let go of his anger. The other agents and staff now felt safe to approach Bodie again. Just one more reason to accept the special relationship between these two unpredictable men. -- THE END -- Archive Home
